Water-Soluble Thread is made for tacking of appliques, gathers, pleats, cuffs and pockets as well as for basting of patchwork quilts by machine or handsewing.

Use only with fabrics that will not be influenced by water or steam.

Sew a test on a scrap of fabric and then dissolve in water.

Hands should be dry when using. After using, keep the remaining thread in an airtight bag with a desiccant in it.

It starts to melt at around 30ºC in water temperature and mostly dissolves at 60ºC. Dissolution time depends on conditions of usage.
